Privacy Policy for SituationShip

SituationShip (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is an iOS app that uses AI to help you decode your situationships. We designed SituationShip with privacy in mind: we store no personal data and collect only the information strictly necessary to make the app (and our ads) work.

1. What We (Don’t) Collect

Bottom line — none of your situationship data is permanently stored or personally linked to you.

2. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

SituationShip offers an auto-renewing subscription through Apple’s in-app purchase (IAP) system.
Apple processes all payments, refunds, and subscription management. We never see or store your payment information.
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.

3. Tracking Technologies

We do not use cookies or browser-based storage. TikTok Ads and Meta Ads SDKs may access your device’s advertising identifiers (IDFA / IDFV) to measure ad performance. You can reset or disable these IDs in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your iPhone.

4. How We Protect Your Data

Transport security: All traffic uses HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher.
Minimal-data architecture: Our backend stores no long-term personal database.
Contractual safeguards: Our AI and analytics partners are bound to process data only as directed and to delete it promptly.

5. Children’s Privacy

SituationShip is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your Rights

Because we store no personal data, traditional rights (access, correction, deletion) are fulfilled by design. If you have questions, reach out using the contact below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
